The Berlin Aid App is designed exclusively for those eligible for aid, for whom the Berlin State Administration Office serves as the central aid office. With this app, you can submit your documents (medical bills, prescriptions, orders) informally and digitally via your smartphone or tablet. It serves as an alternative to the conventional paper-based application for civil service aid.

Using the Berlin Aid App is free of charge. After a one-time registration process in the app (entering identification data, accepting the terms of use, and setting up password protection), you can immediately start recording your first documents. Simply take a photo of them with the app or scan the printed barcode if available. Subsequently, you can submit the documents online to the aid office at the Berlin State Administration Office.

Once your documents are received, you will receive an acknowledgment message on your smartphone or tablet. A camera with a minimum resolution of 5 megapixels is required for the photo function.
